Introduction

Cellulite describes a condition that is claimed to occur in most women where skin of the lower limb and abdomen appears dimpled. Dimpling is caused by the fat cell being infiltrated with water, which gives it a swollen appearance.

Lifestyle choices and diet are considered an important contributing factor to the appearance of cellulite. Caucasian women are most likely to suffer with cellulite and age group differs but mainly commences mid twenties upwards.
