Introduction
The eyes are usually the first area on the face to show age. As we mature, we can develop lower eye bags and our upper lids can 'hood' our eyes, thus exacerbating the signs of age on our face. The Eye Lift will remove bags and hooding, so that the skin is tightened and the eyes look younger and brighter.
Procedure
The upper and lower lids can be operated on together or separately. Excess fat and skin is removed from the eye area, and the skin can be moved upwards and outwards to tighten it.
Recovery
An Eye Lift usually takes 1-3 hours to complete. Most people return to work within one week of their procedure.
Post-Operative Care
River Medical offer post-operative support to all our patients, and you will be advised of the actions you can take to relieve any pain and/or discomfort. You will experience some mild scarring around the socket of the eye. This will normally fade quite quickly. There is likely to be some initial bruising and swelling.
Benefits
- Increased self confidence
- Youthfulness restored
- Vision can be improved
- Deep lines around eyes smoothed out

Patient testimonial
"To whom it concerns,
I'm delighted with the results of my blepharoplasty. Mr. Chatzis must have a very good eye as well as a steady hand!
I don't know how he did such a good job within such a small space!
Already, there is hardly any scarring to be seen.
I just look so much better.
