Interestingly a lot of patients come to us for consultation for Rhinoplasty, when actually it is a recessed cheek or chin that makes the nose appear large. It is a popular procedure with both men and women who desire more definition to their cheeks and for anyone who has experienced facial injuries and require cheek reconstruction.
The Procedure
With Cheek Implant Surgery for Men, the surgeon will make an incision either beneath the lower eyelash or inside the mouth through which the implant will be placed. The exact area to be augmented depends upon the individual's facial structure, and where on the cheekbone the implant will have the best effect. The incisions are most often made in the mouth.
