Every woman has differences between their breasts; for some, these differences are slightly more pronounced. Breast asymmetry means that the breasts are different from each other in terms of size, shape and/or position. The correction is a procedure to reduce the difference between the two breasts.
The Procedure
The nature of Breast Asymmetry Correction means that different procedures (including combinations of procedures) are used to arrive at the best result. Your requirements will entail one of the following:

What is the recovery time like?
Depending on the combination of procedures your Consultant Plastic Surgeon advises, the procedure can take 1 to 3 hours to complete. It usually requires an overnight stay in hospital.
You will need to take 7 to 10 days off work after your surgery; this will depend on you and how well you recover after the procedure.
You may experience a level of discomfort for a few days after your procedure, this will be managed with the support of your Consultant Plastic Surgeon and your River Medical Registered General Nurse to ensure you the safest and most comfortable recovery.
Is Breast Uplift right for me?
Breast Uplift is suitable for women whose breasts have been affected by age, pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss, and want to achieve a more pert youthful appearance to their breasts.
Will I be able to Breast Feed after the procedure?
Yes, Breast Feeding after the procedure should not be a problem.
How should I prepare for my procedure?
There are a few elements to this: preparation will begin with your initial consultation with our Consultant Plastic Surgeon, you will also meet with one of our Registered General Nurses. They will both go through every aspect of the surgery and your recovery with you.
You will come in once more before your surgery to have a further comprehensive pre-operative assessment with your River Medical Registered General Nurse.
The Consultant will be available to you right up until your surgery should you wish to see him again.
Why do you not have before and after pictures on the website?
Before and after pictures on websites can be misleading as they may not be patients of the surgeon who will be doing your Symmetry Correction.
As every person wanting Breast Symmetry Correction has completely different expectations and different combinations of requirements it is a much more valuable tool for your Consultant Plastic Surgeon to show pictures of not only augmentation that he as actually done but also show you results you will be likely to receive.
