Melina, known as ‘Mai’ is a vastly experienced Theatre Nurse, with 14 years experience in both the Philippines and Ireland. Prior to joining River Medical, Mai worked for 8 years at Clane General Hospital as a Theatre Nurse. Preceding her move to Ireland, Mai spend 6 years specialising as a Theatre Nurse in her native Philippines. She also spent a year working in Haemodialysis, working with patients with renal problems, who were on dialysis.

Mai is highly committed to keeping up-to-date with the latest nursing techniques and developments in medical procedures and regularly attends courses in theatre nursing, Intensive training in dental aesthetics and advanced training in Fraxel, specialising in surgical and acne scarring.
